Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Defect Reporting: Perform manual testing of software applications and accurately log defects in our tracking tools.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, bugs, and software issues throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Manual Testing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Tools: Proficiency in using test management tools (e.g., JIRA) and bug tracking systems.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL or scripting languages (Python/Bash) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify inconsistencies and edge cases in software logic.
