Job Overview:
As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring our software applications are free of defects and provide a seamless user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues early in the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans to validate software functionality.
- Identify, document, and verify bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Design and execute test cases, scripts, and test data for various platforms (Web, Mobile, API).
- Conduct regression testing to ensure recent code changes have not negatively impacted existing features.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Monitor application performance and report on system stability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field.
- Experience with manual testing and at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to troubleshoot and analyze root causes.
- Must be available to work flexible hours as project demands require.
