Responsibilities
- Execute Test Cases: Perform manual testing on various web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using our bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Regression Testing: Verify that new code updates do not break existing features or user workflows.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate final product releases.
- Test Documentation: Maintain detailed test plans, test scripts, and test case documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development and design teams to communicate issues and provide feedback on user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting inconsistencies and errors in digital interfaces.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and web browsers.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document bugs clearly and collaborate with teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and logically to troubleshoot issues.
- Willingness to Learn: A strong drive to learn new testing methodologies and software tools.
