Responsibilities
- Design and Execution: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar tools, and verify fixes.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to improve testing efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues promptly.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing to validate system stability under heavy traffic.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of test results, metrics, and test coverage reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance testing, including manual and automation testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium).
- Scripting: Solid understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Database: Experience querying databases using SQL.
- Methodology: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and version control (Git).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
