Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and bugs using bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and validate features.
- Conduct regression testing after software updates to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
- Monitor application performance and stability to provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, life cycles, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in manual testing and experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Appium preferred).
- Familiarity with SQL and basic scripting (Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report findings to the development team.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
