Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, providing clear steps for reproduction.
- Perform regression testing and smoke testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues were introduced.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify test scenarios.
- Automate manual test cases using scripting languages to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze system logs and error reports to diagnose root causes of defects.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies, including black-box and white-box testing.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Knowledge of SQL for database querying and data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report issues to the team.
