As a QA Tester, you will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to deliver high-quality software that meets industry standards.

Location: Washington, DC (On-site/Hybrid options available)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and security.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and document detailed bug reports in Jira for developers to resolve.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Developers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria.
- Perform regression testing on new releases to ensure existing features remain unaffected.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with SQL for database querying and validation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
