Role Overview
The Prompt Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts to maximize the performance of AI systems. You will act as the bridge between human intent and machine execution, ensuring our AI solutions are accurate, safe, and highly effective.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy complex prompt strategies for generative AI models to achieve specific business outcomes.
- Analyze model outputs to identify biases, hallucinations, and areas for improvement in prompt engineering.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate prompt logic into larger AI workflows and APIs.
- Create and maintain a repository of high-quality prompt templates and prompt libraries.
- Conduct A/B testing on different prompt variations to optimize response accuracy and relevance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and apply them to our engineering stack.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Prompt Engineer or similar role within the AI/ML space.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, including GPT-3.5/4, BERT, and LLaMA architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as LangChain or Hugging Face.
- Excellent command of the English language, with a keen eye for nuance and tone.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot AI responses.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related technical field.
