Responsibilities
- Design & Optimization: Craft complex, multi-step prompts that maximize the accuracy and utility of Generative AI models like GPT-4 and Claude.
- Iterative Testing: Develop and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate prompt performance and refine strategies based on data.
- System Integration: Collaborate closely with software engineers and data scientists to integrate prompt systems into production applications.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on prompt engineering best practices and methodologies for the engineering team.
- Content Strategy: Analyze user interactions to identify trends and improve the overall user experience with AI tools.
- Model Fine-Tuning: Work with data teams to prepare datasets that improve model behavior and reduce hallucinations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering frameworks.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or a related technical field.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex AI behaviors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Language: Native-level proficiency in English with a deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and nuance.
