Responsibilities
- Design & Optimize: Develop and refine complex prompts to maximize the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated content.
- A/B Testing: Conduct rigorous testing to compare prompt variations and evaluate model performance against key metrics.
- Documentation: Create detailed prompt libraries, style guides, and standard operating procedures for internal teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and product managers to translate business goals into effective AI strategies.
- Model Analysis: Monitor AI outputs for biases, hallucinations, and safety risks, implementing mitigations immediately.
- Training: Mentor junior team members on best practices for interacting with generative AI tools.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in prompt engineering or technical writing with a focus on AI/LLMs.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or API integrations (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain).
- Language: Exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and nuance in English.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills to troubleshoot complex prompt logic issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
