Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for enterprise-level LLM applications
- Collaborate with ML engineers to integrate prompt workflows into production systems
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create reusable prompt libraries
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt effectiveness and iterate based on performance metrics
- Develop prompt templates for diverse use cases including customer support, content generation, and data analysis
- Stay current with emerging prompt engineering techniques and model architectures
- Train cross-functional teams on prompt optimization strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of prompt engineering or NLP experience with production AI systems
- Proficiency with Python and prompt frameworks like LangChain or Guidance
- Deep understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations (GPT-4, Claude, Llama)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in prompt testing and optimization
