Responsibilities
- Design and Optimize: Develop complex, multi-turn prompt strategies to maximize the accuracy and relevance of AI outputs.
- Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing of prompts against various LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude) to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on prompt engineering best practices and usage guidelines for internal stakeholders.
- Creative Problem Solving: Iterate on prompt structures to handle edge cases and improve hallucination reduction.
- Collaboration: Partner with data scientists to fine-tune models based on user feedback and prompt performance data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in prompt engineering, NLP, or a related technical writing field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Writing Skills: Exceptional command of grammar, tone, and style to craft prompts that elicit desired behaviors.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to debug and refine complex prompt chains.
