Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs into intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing designs.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing sessions, to gather insights and validate design assumptions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools like Figma.
- Execute A/B testing and analyze user behavior data to iterate on designs and improve conversion rates.
- Maintain and adhere to the company’s comprehensive design system and brand guidelines.
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and external clients in a clear and compelling manner.
- Contribute to the creation of user personas and customer journey maps to drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing wireframes, prototypes, and case studies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, with a strong command of design principles.
- Excellent understanding of information architecture, usability standards, and mobile-first design methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with front-end development basics (HTML/CSS) is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time, contract capacity.
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Minneapolis, MN.
