Join our award-winning design team at InnovateTech Solutions as a Part-Time UX Designer in Boston. We're seeking a creative problem-solver to craft exceptional user experiences for our fintech platform. This flexible 20-25 hour/week role offers remote work with occasional in-person collaboration in our downtown Boston office. You'll work directly with product managers and engineers to transform complex data into intuitive digital interfaces. Our team values design thinking, user empathy, and continuous iteration.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered solutions for web and mobile applications using Figma and Adobe XD
- Conduct user research, including persona development and usability testing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment and implementation
- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products
- Present design concepts and iterate based on stakeholder feedback
- Analyze user behavior data to inform design improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional UX design experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
- Bachelor's degree in UX Design, HCI, or related field
- Understanding of responsive design principles and front-end development basics
- Exceptional visual design skills with attention to typography, color, and layout
- Ability to articulate design decisions through user-centered rationale
- Experience working in Agile development environments
