Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test high-quality software code for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Maintain and refactor existing codebases to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and software defects in a timely manner.
- Contribute to technical documentation and architectural design discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as a part-time contractor while meeting deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to relocate to Virginia.
