Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools and other security technologies.
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response efforts to mitigate risks.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and document security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to enhance our security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, and information security principles.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
