Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Design, code, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern frameworks and languages.
- Optimization: Identify and optimize bottlenecks in existing codebases to improve performance and scalability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and solve complex technical problems.
- Testing & QA: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for APIs and architecture.
- Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript (React/Vue/Angular preferred).
- Database: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Tools: Experience with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the United States (California or Virginia) with our full support package.
