Responsibilities
- Architect scalable microservices using Node.js and Python on AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Optimize database performance through PostgreSQL indexing and Redis caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for automated deployments
- Lead API development with RESTful and GraphQL standards for mobile/web integrations
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications using Jira and Confluence
- Implement security best practices including OAuth 2.0 and data encryption protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with React/Angular and Node.js
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) with Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design principles
- Experience with container orchestration and serverless architecture patterns
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ production applications with measurable impact
- Ability to deliver results independently in asynchronous team environments
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent written communication for cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
