Role Overview
As a Part-Time Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our core product suite. You will work closely with our senior architects and product managers to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern web technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge bases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js (or equivalent modern stack).
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
