Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions for our equity options trading platforms.
- Algorithm Optimization: Refine existing pricing models and trading algorithms to improve latency and accuracy.
- Code Maintenance: Debug complex codebases and ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and documentation.
- Database Management: Collaborate with data scientists to optimize SQL queries and manage large-scale data repositories.
- System Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless communication between internal systems.
- Security Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data and trading strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++. Experience with equity options or financial derivatives is a major plus.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.
