Responsibilities
- Lead the monitoring and analysis of security events using SIEM platforms like Splunk or QRadar.
- Execute vulnerability scans and manage remediation activities to maintain compliance.
- Design and implement security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Conduct regular security training and awareness sessions for staff.
- Investigate security breaches, root cause analysis, and incident response coordination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while managing multiple priorities.
