Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document bugs and inconsistencies using JIRA with detailed reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers to verify issue resolutions and validate fixes
- Participate in agile sprint cycles to maintain project timelines
- Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback for product improvements
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and test environment integrity
- Conduct regression testing on new software releases and updates
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in software QA testing (manual/automated)
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with QA methodologies (STLC, Agile, Scrum)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical thinking skills
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and checklists
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma; relevant certifications (CSTE, ISTQB) preferred
