Responsibilities
- Execute Test Cases: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Test Planning: Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test scripts, and test data.
- Bug Reporting: Document, track, and verify bugs using JIRA and other tracking tools, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing on existing software builds to ensure new changes have not introduced errors.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and edge cases.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed test logs and test summary reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Tools: Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
