Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Create detailed bug reports using JIRA with clear steps to reproduce and severity levels
- Validate fixes and confirm resolution of reported issues
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test scenarios based on requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes
- Perform regression testing on new features and existing functionality
- Document testing procedures and maintain test case repositories
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in software QA testing (manual or automated)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic SQL queries
