Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and usability issues
- Document bugs using JIRA with precise steps, screenshots, and severity ratings
- Collaborate with developers during sprint cycles to validate fixes and new features
- Perform regression testing on mobile/web applications across iOS/Android browsers
- Conduct cross-browser compatibility testing using Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Maintain test documentation and update test scripts as requirements evolve
Qualifications
- 1+ years of QA testing experience or relevant internship/certification
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in CS preferred
