Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for large language models to achieve specific business outcomes
- Collaborate with product teams to align prompt engineering with user experience goals
- Document prompt libraries and best practices for internal knowledge sharing
- Conduct A/B testing of prompt variations to maximize output quality and consistency
- Analyze model outputs to identify improvement opportunities in prompt structure
- Stay current with emerging AI research and prompt engineering methodologies
- Maintain ethical standards in all AI interactions and output validation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or natural language processing
- Proficiency with GPT-4, Claude, or similar large language model platforms
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
- Experience with Python and AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects
- Excellent written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related field
