Responsibilities
- Design, test, and optimize prompts for enterprise-level language models to achieve specific business objectives
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to define prompt engineering frameworks
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and documentation
- Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to maximize output quality and efficiency
- Document prompt engineering best practices and create training materials for cross-functional teams
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and prompt engineering methodologies
- Contribute to ethical AI guidelines for prompt development
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with GPT-4, Claude, or equivalent LLMs
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prompt optimization projects with measurable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field
- Expertise in HTML/CSS for prompt interface development and testing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex AI output issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments
- Knowledge of Cincinnati's tech ecosystem preferred
