Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) hardware.
- Perform routine network troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve connectivity issues.
- Manage and configure routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure network security.
- Assist with physical cabling tasks, including Cat6 termination and cable management.
- Monitor network performance and provide reports on system health and uptime.
- Respond to help desk tickets regarding network access and hardware failures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCENT are highly desirable.
- 1-3 years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and DNS.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits.
