Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform routine network maintenance and monitoring to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist in the deployment and physical cabling of LAN/WAN networks (fiber and copper).
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues and hardware failures efficiently.
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement network upgrades and security patches.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in Computer Science, IT, or related field (CompTIA Network+ or CCNA preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for occasional site visits.
