Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and resolve connectivity issues promptly
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure data integrity
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to end-users via remote and onsite assistance
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with IT team on network upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Perform regular maintenance and system backups to prevent downtime
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software issues
- Excellent written/verbal communication and customer service abilities
