Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network integrity and data
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for end-user devices and network services
- Document network changes, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with IT team on infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification required
- 2+ years experience with Cisco/Juniper routing and switching
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network hardware and software
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
