Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools like Wireshark and SolarWinds
- Document network infrastructure changes and maintain up-to-date documentation
- Implement cybersecurity measures including VPN setups and access controls
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to resolve network outages
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy network upgrades and expansions
- Train end-users on network security best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNA preferred)
- 2+ years hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Strong troubleshooting skills with OSI model knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts
- Valid Arizona driver's license for occasional on-site visits
