Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot wired/wireless network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance and security using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Document network topology, changes, and incident reports in ServiceNow
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance
- Perform network capacity planning and system upgrades
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking gear
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Nevada driver's license for occasional site visits
