Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Perform regular network audits, security checks, and performance monitoring to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues and hardware failures.
- Install, test, and upgrade network hardware and software solutions.
- Assist in the implementation of network security protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Document network topology, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for knowledge management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work part-time hours with potential for occasional overtime.
