Responsibilities
- Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for clients.
- Hardware Support: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts efficiently.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and technical documentation.
- Support: Provide on-site technical support and training to end-users regarding network usage and security protocols.
- Security: Assist in implementing and monitoring network security measures to protect data integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in network administration or IT support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and wireless networking technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours with occasional availability for on-site support.
