Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Implement VPN solutions and ensure secure remote access protocols
- Document network topologies, configurations, and incident reports
- Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure upgrades
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network outages and performance issues
- Conduct periodic network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with LAN/WAN environments
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
