Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement network security protocols and monitor for vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for network-related problems
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless network operations
- Assist with network upgrades and infrastructure expansions
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Technology, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification required
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Ohio driver's license for occasional on-site visits
