Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Assist in building responsive, mobile-first websites using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Code Maintenance: Review, debug, and optimize existing codebases to ensure site speed and accessibility compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web pages.
- Content Management: Manage and update website content, images, and SEO metadata for client sites.
- Testing: Perform cross-browser compatibility testing and troubleshoot reported user issues.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for internal processes and code changes.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with React, Vue.js, or Tailwind CSS is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and content management systems (WordPress/Shopify).
- Portfolio: A personal portfolio showcasing past projects or coding exercises.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Ability to commit to 15-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
