Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into clean, semantic HTML and CSS.
- Write efficient, well-documented JavaScript code to add interactivity and functionality to web pages.
- Maintain and update existing client websites, ensuring optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting bugs and performance issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Bootstrap) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
- A portfolio of personal or academic projects demonstrating web development skills.
- Must be located in or willing to commute to New Orleans, LA.
