We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Analyst to support our operations in the Memphis, TN and Illinois regions. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex market data and actionable business insights. You will work closely with our trading and risk management teams to ensure our equity option datasets are accurate, up-to-date, and ready for high-level analysis.

Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Extract and clean large datasets from multiple sources related to equity options trading, ensuring 100% data accuracy.
- Market Analysis: Perform trend analysis on option volumes and open interest across Memphis and Illinois trading desks.
- Dashboard Reporting: Develop and maintain custom SQL-based dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the options team.
- Risk Modeling Support: Assist in the calculation of Greeks and volatility surfaces for specific equity classes.
- Database Management: Monitor database integrity and optimize query performance for large-scale financial data retrieval.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present data findings to senior management in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python or R for data manipulation, and Excel (VBA/Advanced formulas).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of equity options, derivatives, and basic financial concepts (Black-Scholes, call/put structures).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or a financial trading environment.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors in complex datasets and maintain rigorous data quality standards.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
