Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of equity options data to identify market trends and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools to track option flow and implied volatility.
- Collaborate with trading desks to provide actionable insights and support for short-term trading strategies.
- Conduct quality assurance on data feeds to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management.
- Assist in the optimization of data pipelines for faster processing of large datasets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, financial markets, or equity trading support.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes) and market terminology.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
