Responsibilities
- Analyze equity options market data using SQL and Python to identify pricing anomalies and trends
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines for real-time options market surveillance
- Develop interactive dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) to visualize volatility surfaces and Greeks
- Support quantitative research by processing earnings event data and implied volatility surfaces
- Collaborate with traders to validate models and enhance options pricing strategies
- Document methodologies and ensure compliance with SEC/NFA data governance standards
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through concise executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ years experience analyzing equity options or derivatives data
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VBA)
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Experience with financial APIs (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and market data feeds
- Advanced data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or D3.js)
- Knowledge of SEC regulations and options market microstructure
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced financial environment
