Apex Analytics Group is seeking a skilled and analytical Part-Time Data Analyst to join our growing team in Arlington, Virginia. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform complex data modeling and statistical analysis to support business forecasting and budgeting.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement solutions.
- Document data processes and methodologies to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business value.
