Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve specific data and maintain database records efficiently.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI for stakeholder reporting.
- Business Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key findings to management and non-technical teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement based on data insights and recommend strategic solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a part-time, freelance, or internship capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to business leaders.
- Relocation: Candidate must be willing to relocate to Pennsylvania or work remotely from a US-based location.
