Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources into structured formats suitable for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and outliers within large datasets.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries for stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear business language.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers and engineers to understand data requirements and support strategic initiatives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation processes.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis scripts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization software.
- Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data interpretation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data insights effectively.
- Experience: Prior experience in a data analyst role (internships or freelance work included).
