Responsibilities
- Conduct Data Mining & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards (using Tableau or Power BI) to visualize complex data for stakeholders.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses and provide predictive insights for business forecasting.
- Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries that communicate findings clearly and concisely.
- Database Management: Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the analytics team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and success metrics.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- San Jose Availability: Must be available to work on-site in San Jose, CA or hybrid model as required.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy in all deliverables.
