Role Overview
As a Part-Time Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and presenting data in a way that is accessible to stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement. Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather raw data from various sources and transform it into a clean, usable format using SQL and Excel.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that drive business strategy.
- Reporting: Generate accurate and timely reports for management, highlighting actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and marketing teams to define data needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of all data assets managed by the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Style: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a part-time capacity while meeting strict deadlines.
