Responsibilities
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- SQL & Database Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract relevant data and perform data mining tasks.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Analyze historical data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can influence business strategy.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to understand data requirements and support data-driven projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and experience with at least one BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical findings to non-technical audiences.
