We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our growing financial services client in Jersey City. This hybrid role (3 days/week in-office) offers flexible hours while allowing you to make significant impact through data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and Excel to identify trends and opportunities
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements
- Prepare monthly performance reports with clear visualizations
- Optimize data collection processes to improve efficiency
- Maintain data integrity across multiple platforms
- Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of professional data analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Expert knowledge of Tableau or Power BI visualization tools
- Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with financial services or SaaS data preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
