Join DataVista Analytics as a Part-Time Data Analyst and transform raw data into actionable business insights in Austin's thriving tech hub. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our data-driven decision-making processes with flexible scheduling (20-25 hours/week). This role offers remote flexibility with occasional in-person collaboration at our downtown Austin office.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL and Python to identify trends and opportunities
- Create compelling visualizations with Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Develop automated reporting dashboards tracking KPIs and performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements
- Present findings through clear, concise documentation and presentations
- Maintain data integrity through validation protocols and quality checks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and data visualization tools
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and Excel advanced functions
- Strong statistical analysis and hypothesis testing skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
